The original 301 tollhouse

39 Secor Street, Nelsonville. Harry Nelson Delanoy (father of Helen Jimenez and Nelson Delanoy) said that this was the original Toll House, moved on rollers down Main Street to this location by a Mr. Ferris who once owned 40 Secor Street. When the father of Harry Nelson Delanoy bought both properties, his wife had the dormer windows added upstairs. "Ed" Adams was the contractor who performed the work. Photo was taken in the earlier half of the 1900's and the house still stands on the curve of Secor St. behind Champlin's Blacksmith Shop and still looks much the same.
