The Hotel Imperial

The Hotel Imperial once stood on the east side of the intersection of Division and Bank Streets. Owen McDermott, proprietor, advertised "first class meals, fine wines and liquors, and steam heat." The large piazza of this hotel was repaired in 1908 by W.H.LaDue, with the aid of his men Al Lawrence and Will Foster. A few years later the Imperial was destroyed by fire.
